Blaenau Gwent Writing Squads
The Writing Squads in Blaenau Gwent were established a number of years ago and have flourished ever since. There are currently two English language Writing Squads in Blaenau Gwent, with around twenty members in each Squad. Beverley Banon from Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is responsible for the Squads and can be contacted on Beverley.bannon@blaenau-gwent.gov.uk
Recent Activities:
February 2009: Workshop with Cat Weatherill.
June 2009: Workshop with Phil Carradice.
September 2009: Participation in event at the Senedd with National Poet Gillian Clarke, Robert Minhinnick and Ceri Wyn Jones to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the National Assembly (both Squads)
October 2009: Workshop with Peter Read.
