Carmarthen Writing Squads

Two new secondary Writing Squads were set up in Carmarthen in the summer of 2009.
The Carmarthen Squads are run in partnership with the Education Department of Carmarthenshire County Council.

Recent Activity:

July 2009:  The Squads first sessions. Francesca Kay worked with the English group, while Elinor Wyn Reynolds worked with the Welsh language group

September 2009: Participation in event at the Senedd with National Poet Gillian Clarke, Robert Minhinnick and Ceri Wyn Jones to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the National Assembly

October 2009:  The English Squad worked with Mary Medlicot, and the Welsh Squad worked with Caryl Parry Jones.

May 2010: The English Squad worked with Francesca Kay and the Welsh Squad worked with Ceri Wyn Jones.
